## Description

The Institute for Global Reconstitution (IGRec) is a research initiative examining the political crises shaping Russia, Europe, and the wider world. It brings together theory-minded, historical, and imaginative scholarship to investigate the roots of these crises and envision political structures that might help overcome them. Its work connects regional developments, including the war in Ukraine, with broader global challenges, while bringing perspectives from political philosophy, history, economics, ecology, sociology, and security studies.

IGRec shares its research through articles, reports, conference coverage, and recorded talks featuring its authors and invited experts. Its topics include European security, collective security, peace, political economy, climate change, cultural minorities, and the political ecology of extraction. The institute also hosts and promotes public events, such as discussions, book presentations, and conferences, and introduces readers to its researchers and collaborators. Visitors can subscribe to updates about new articles and expert contributions, with options for receiving them weekly, twice monthly, or monthly.
