The International Headache Society proudly presents the third edition of the International Classification of Headache Disorders (ICHD-3), a vital resource for clinicians and researchers in headache medicine. Building on the foundation laid by the 2013 ICHD-3 beta, this comprehensive classification system offers an evidence-based framework for identifying and diagnosing various headache disorders. 

ICHD-3 categorizes headaches into three main sections: primary headaches, such as migraines and tension-type headaches; secondary headaches, which develop as a symptom of other medical conditions; and neuropathies and facial pains. The publication also includes an appendix for research-related classifications lacking sufficient evidence. 

The digital version of ICHD-3 enhances accessibility, facilitating its application in clinical practice and research. With ongoing updates and future collaborations, the ICHD-3 aims to lead the evolution of headache classification and promote better understanding and management of headache disorders worldwide.
