# IHSG - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `ihsg.org` ## Description The International Herbage Seed Group (IHSG) is an international organization dedicated to cooperation and communication among people involved in herbage seed production research. Its origins date to 1978, when the International Herbage Seed Production Research Group was established after the University of Nottingham’s 28th Easter School in Agricultural Science. This research-focused mission has remained central to the group’s work. IHSG supports its community by sharing research news and updates through regular newsletters and blog posts, and by bringing participants together at international conferences. Its website also provides access to publications, membership information, organizational leadership and constitution details, and a job board listing current opportunities. These resources help members and other interested readers stay informed about developments in herbage seed research around the world. The group’s 13th conference is scheduled for Køge, Denmark, in 2027, with a post-conference tour planned. Through its communications, publications and events, IHSG provides a platform for researchers and others in the field to exchange knowledge and strengthen connections across the international herbage seed community. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Biology _(under Science and Education)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idH9kEKF4L/w/512/h/512/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793310980900) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Royal Blue | #3858e9 | accent | | Black | #000000 | dark | | Antique Brass | #cb966b | light | --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
