## Description

IID Architects, or Initiatives in Design, is an architectural practice built around collaboration, thoughtful design and practical delivery. The team describes itself as skilled, focused and approachable, turning open conversations with clients into considered ideas and joyful buildings. Its work includes education, community and other building projects, with particular experience in schools and complex developments. Services span early design and planning through technical development and construction, including retrofit, work with listed buildings, phased projects on occupied sites, interiors and furniture design, and building information modelling (BIM). The practice helps clients explore options, refine their ideas and plan long-term improvements, taking account of how buildings are used and how work can be delivered effectively. Its portfolio includes Thomas’s College, Boreham House, St Paul’s School Performance Centre and the STEM Centre at St Helen’s School. IID’s multidisciplinary team brings design, technical, project management and digital expertise, supporting clients, consultants and contractors throughout a project.
