The Institute of Islamic Economics & Finance (IIEF) is the leading knowledge center for Islamic Economics, Banking, and Finance in The Gambia. With over 13 years of experience, we are the voice of Islamic finance in Africa. Our institute is committed to providing high-quality services worldwide.

Our services include Islamic Finance & Banking, where we help African sovereigns broaden their investor base and encourage local market participants. We also provide advisory services for designing suitable Islamic Microfinance products and efficient delivery channels. At IIEF, we focus on providing Shariah Advisory Services to financial institutions and Microfinance agencies.

We offer guidance on a different model of operation for Takaful Insurance, which bears similarities to co-operative or mutual insurance. Additionally, our institute aims to publish semi-annual reports and serve as a platform for research and consultancy in Islamic Finance, Economics, Banking, and related fields. We also actively promote Islamic Social Finance tools such as Zakat, Sadaqa, and Waqf.
