IIFA also provides education and training for people entering or working in freight forwarding. Its programmes include the FIATA Diploma in Freight Forwarding, an Introduction to Freight Forwarding course, and training in Customs Clearance and Practical Customs Declaration Completion. The site provides information about course content, delivery, registration, upcoming class dates and graduate experiences. IIFA supports professional development and recognition through initiatives such as the Young Irish Freight Forwarder of the Year Award and Irish participation in the Young Logistics Professional Awards.
