# Iisalmen Naisten Säätiö - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `iisalmennaistensaatio.fi` ## Description Iisalmen Naisten Säätiö is a Finnish public-benefit foundation dedicated to supporting the development of women’s skills and expertise in Iisalmi. Established in 1975 by members of the board of the Iisalmen Naistenyhdistys association, the foundation received the association’s assets as its initial capital. These included the Naistentalo property, which had housed a women’s handicraft and weaving school. The foundation continues a local tradition of promoting women’s practical and professional abilities. Its predecessor, founded in 1897 as the Iisalmen Rouvasväenyhdistys, worked to improve handicraft and weaving skills among young women with limited means. In keeping with its governing rules, Iisalmen Naisten Säätiö awards grants and scholarships each year to help women in Iisalmi develop their capabilities in household-related pursuits and in business life. The foundation’s website provides information about its board, grant applications and previously awarded grants and scholarships. Its listed initiatives include a 2024 application opportunity for women entrepreneurs in Iisalmi working in the handicraft sector. ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Grants Scholarships and Financial Aid _(under Science and Education)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idYigWWY_f/w/1024/h/700/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793539004337) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Limeade | #4e9e03 | accent | | Tundora | #444444 | dark | | Atlantis | #81d742 | light | ## Fonts - Poppins — asset _(google)_ - Open Sans — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
