## Description

The International Junior Golf Association (IJGA) is a Japanese general incorporated association dedicated to developing young golfers. It organises the qualifying tournaments that select Japan’s representatives for the World Junior Golf Championships, alongside a programme of junior competitions and events across Japan. Its website provides tournament schedules, entry guidelines, results, event reports, photographs, and information about the World Junior championships, helping players and families follow participation from local competitions to international representation.

IJGA also supports children taking their first steps in golf through its Junior Golf Growth Support Project. Designed for children aged five through the fourth year of elementary school, the initiative offers special pricing, beginner-friendly events, nine-hole tournaments, and activities for parents and children. The project aims to help young participants discover golf as a sport they can enjoy throughout life and grow through continued involvement. IJGA shares resources such as golf rules and etiquette guidance for junior players, answers common questions, and recruits supporters and volunteers.
