## Description

Erasmus+ is the EU program that supports education, training, youth, and sports in Europe. With an estimated budget of 26.2 billion euros, Erasmus+ is almost twice the funding that was provided in the previous program (2014-2020). The 2021-2027 program places particular emphasis on social inclusion, green and digital transition, as well as promoting the participation of youth in democratic life. It supports priorities and activities defined in the European Education Area, the Digital Education Action Plan, and the European Skills Agenda. Additionally, the program supports the European Pillar of Social Rights, implements the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027, and develops the European dimension in sports. Erasmus+ offers opportunities for mobility and cooperation in higher education, vocational education and training, school education (including early childhood education and care), adult education, youth, and sport. Detailed information about these opportunities, including eligibility criteria, can be found in the Erasmus+ Programme Guide. The outcomes of Erasmus+ are available in reports, statistics, and through the Erasmus+ Projects Platform, which includes funded initiatives and successful practices.
