# iledelareunion-archive.com - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `iledelareunion-archive.com` ## Description Ile de la Réunion Archive is a dedicated online platform run by volunteers, providing free access to genealogical records from the island of Réunion. Unlike traditional archives, this initiative focuses on compiling and digitizing civil status documents, allowing individuals to uncover their ancestry and family history. With a robust database of over 1.4 million records, this site actively updates its collection, covering various periods and localities, including Saint-Paul, Sainte-Marie, and Saint-Joseph, among others. The platform invites participation from those interested in genealogy, offering opportunities for volunteers to contribute as document transcribers. While the site provides comprehensive access to records, it does not offer personal research services, encouraging users to explore the catalog independently. Users can remain informed about recent updates and additional resources through the FAQ and dedicated sections of the website. Ile de la Réunion Archive embodies a communal effort, celebrating the rich heritage of the island through collective research and shared discoveries. ## Industries - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure - 🎸 Ancestry and Genealogy _(under Hobbies and Leisure)_ - 🗺 Reference Materials - 🗺 Public Records and Directories _(under Reference Materials)_ ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Seagull | #79b2e9 | accent | | Black Russian | #000213 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
