## Description

ILF Scotland is an organisation that provides funding support to disabled people in Scotland and Northern Ireland, helping them live more independently. It distributes public money from the Scottish Government and the Department of Health in Northern Ireland, and offers information and guidance to applicants, families and local authorities.

Its programmes include the Independent Living Fund, which supports people with complex disabilities to live independently, and the Coming Home Fund, which helps people with learning disabilities in Scotland live in their own communities. The Transition Fund offers eligible disabled young people aged 16 to 25 in Scotland up to £4,000 for one year, supporting them to try new experiences. ILF Scotland also highlights technology grants to help young disabled people get online.

Alongside funding, the organisation shares application guidance, frequently asked questions, case studies, news, events and publications such as annual reports, policies and strategy documents. People can contact its team by phone or email for assistance.
