## Description

Ilperijsclub is a local skating club welcoming visitors to enjoy the winter landscape of the Ilperveld near Landsmeer, just north of Amsterdam. The club promotes skating in this distinctive, water-rich area, where routes are normally marked across the field when conditions allow. Its best-known offering is the Ilperveldtocht, a skating tour that gives participants a way to explore the region on the ice. The club’s website shares updates on skating conditions and whether a tour is being held, and advises visitors to follow guidance from the KNSB and government when skating. Den Ilp’s Dorpshuis normally serves as a starting point for the tour, while a traditional koek-en-zopietent typically offers refreshments such as hot chocolate with whipped cream. These facilities may not always be open, and activities depend on weather and ice conditions. Visitors can browse information about the skating tour, the Ilperveld and parking, or contact the club through its website. Ilperijsclub offers a community-oriented way to experience outdoor skating when winter conditions make it possible.
