## Description

Illinois Open Educational Resources (IOER) is a resource-sharing platform for education and career learning in Illinois. It helps educators, learners, and community members discover, organize, and contribute digital learning materials through an online library. Visitors can browse resources, explore curated online libraries, and find learning lists containing lessons, activities, and curricula. Topics represented on the site include STEM, vocational education, workforce development, and general classroom learning.

Members can create an online resource library, upload or tag materials, build learning lists, and share resources with others. Community features support building professional networks, while rating tools help users identify useful content. IOER also provides a user guide, developer documentation, and widgets that organizations can add to their own websites for easier access to shared resources.

The platform highlights newly added materials from followed libraries and from IOER, alongside community activity and information about national initiatives. IOER is associated with the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity and offers policies, accessibility information, and contact details for users.
