## Description

Image Musical Theatre is a UK touring theatre company that creates lively, participatory performances for children and families, with a particular focus on theatre in education. Founded in 1988 as Image Theatre Company, it was established to bring high-quality productions to schools and venues in West London and nearby counties. The company became Image Musical Theatre in 1995, reflecting its growing emphasis on original musical productions.

Its work adapts popular stories, classic children’s literature and plays in English, inviting young audiences to take part in the performance. Image Musical Theatre has written and produced eighteen new family participation musicals and has built a varied catalogue of productions over more than three decades. Featured shows include Dr Dolittle, following the doctor and his animal companions, and Jungle Book; past productions include Robin Hood and Pinocchio.

The company’s tours are designed to entertain while supporting children’s education, confidence and personal growth. Schools can book performances and request appropriate precautions when arranging a visit.
