Imagination Library of Louisville, located in Jefferson County, Kentucky, is dedicated to nurturing a love of reading in children from birth to age five. Through their free monthly book program, they aim to inspire a passion for reading and prepare children for kindergarten. Founded in 2016 through a collaboration between the Junior League of Louisville, WAVE 3 News, and the Jefferson County Public Education Foundation, this organization has already gifted over 100,000 books and currently serves 1,000 registered children.


By improving early education in the community, Imagination Library of Louisville believes they can contribute to the lifelong success of Jefferson County kids. They recently expanded their reach with funding from the Louisville Metro Government, making their program available to every child under five in Jefferson County. With their commitment to improving early education, Imagination Library of Louisville is making a positive impact in the community and inspiring a love of reading that will last a lifetime
