About
Description
San Diego Immigrant Rights Consortium (SDIRC) is dedicated to defending the civil and human rights of immigrants and refugees in San Diego County. As a project started by Alliance San Diego in 2007, SDIRC has grown to include over 50 organizations working together to uphold our region's values of inclusivity and compassion. SDIRC offers a range of crucial services, including education and empowerment programs for immigrants and refugees to help them understand their rights and access available resources.
They also counter misinformation and stereotypes surrounding immigrants and refugees, promoting a more accurate and nuanced understanding. In addition, SDIRC collaborates with other organizations to provide immigration services, search and rescue operations, and legal and humanitarian support to those in need. By fostering a sense of unity and collaboration, SDIRC plays a vital role in promoting a diverse and vibrant community that values dignity and respect for all individuals, regardless of their backgrounds
