## Description

Immortal Fruit Flies is an interactive project exploring fruit fly neural circuits through browser-based games featuring connectome-driven agents. Its experiences combine measured neural wiring with learned readouts, offering a playful way to investigate how circuit structure can shape behavior. The site presents two games, including a reflex experiment, alongside evidence and an on-chain section.

A central feature is a visualization of a measured 80-cell circuit, organized into 32 input cells, 32 bridge interneurons, and 16 output cells, with 1,296 directed connections. Neuron positions are based on measured coordinates, and the displayed lines represent connections rather than live signals. Detailed connection data, including cell names and contact counts, helps visitors examine the circuit’s architecture.

Immortal Fruit Flies also introduces the reflex science behind its interactive toys, connecting the games to the underlying neural network and its wiring. Visitors can explore the experiment, review supporting evidence, and access an open monitor. Together, these features make the project an accessible digital showcase for connectome-based simulations and browser games built around fruit fly neural circuitry.
