# IMODX

- **Website:** <https://imodx.org>
- **Primary alias:** `imodx.org`

## Description

Its mission is to make the global model and data ecosystem more accessible, supporting qualified professionals and smaller institutions through lower barriers to participation and a shared marketplace intended to enable fair price discovery. The platform’s proposed features include decentralized governance, stakeholder-led standards, and a payment infrastructure designed to reduce the time and cost of transferring funds to developers and validators.

The iModX Consortium is an independent, not-for-profit membership organization intended to coordinate network governance, guide development, and manage the reserve. Its council brings together representatives of validator nodes and exchange investors, with major decisions subject to a two-thirds vote. iModX also describes plans for enterprise blockchain pilots, a repository of models and data, and an Integrated Model Development Environment with tools and APIs for developers, validators, and users. The initiative aims to help qualified participants build, buy, and conduct business using models and data on the platform.
