IMPACT Parkinson’s Society, founded in 2015, is a dedicated non-profit organization aimed at enhancing the quality of life for individuals and families affected by Parkinson's disease. Based in British Columbia, the organization has transitioned its focus to virtual programming, specifically the successful "Let’s Talk LOUD," which offers group voice therapy to support communication for those impacted by Parkinson’s. Although the physical center is no longer operational, IMPACT continues to provide valuable resources, workshops, and community outreach, ensuring ongoing support for its members.

The Society has a rich history of community involvement, including fundraising events that have raised over $10,000 for Parkinson Society British Columbia. It was the first center in BC to offer an all-encompassing suite of programs targeting the mind, body, and soul. From exercise classes to therapeutic workshops, IMPACT Parkinson’s aims to empower participants to lead happier, healthier lives, creating a profound impact along their journey. As it prepares for dissolution by March 2024, IMPACT remains committed to supporting those living with Parkinson's through its legacy initiatives.
