## Description

AICE is a Catalan organization focused on cochlear implants and the people who use them. Its website provides information about cochlear implants, including frequently asked questions, practical resources, accessibility, and the organization’s mission, history, and values. AICE also shares news, events, and guidance relevant to implant users, their families, and the wider community.

The organization advocates for the rights, autonomy, and social inclusion of people with disabilities, with particular attention to communication access for people with hearing disabilities. It highlights measures such as subtitles, induction loops, FM systems, and accessible digital and in-person communications, and promotes planning accessibility from the outset of activities. AICE publicizes accessible performances and films in original-language versions, alongside information about transport accessibility and changes to disability and dependency policy. It also organizes opportunities for cochlear implant users, including gatherings for young people to connect and share experiences. Through these resources and advocacy, AICE works to support participation in community life and equal access to information, services, and activities.
