## Description

RFI is a U.S.-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on inspiring innovation in aviation and showing that disability does not mean inability. Its flagship initiative, The Impossible Airplane, aims to build the first airplane designed to be flown solely with the pilot’s feet. The project centers on Jessica Cox, the first licensed armless pilot in history, and a custom-built RV-10 intended to make flying more accessible and help her travel farther. RFI hopes the aircraft will offer a model for other pilots with disabilities and encourage new ideas in aviation.

The organization shares updates on the RV-10 build, news coverage, and stories about pilots with disabilities and their aircraft. Its website also provides a knowledge base with information from Jessica and her team about becoming a pilot with a disability, along with resources for pilots. Visitors can learn about RFI’s projects and action committees, follow the build, subscribe for news, or support the work through donations.
