## Description

Instituto Movimento Pedal Seguro (IMPS) is a cycling-focused collective dedicated to promoting safer riding and supporting its community. Its Bike EducAção project goes beyond teaching children to ride, using cycling to encourage traffic awareness, physical activity, sustainability, coordination, responsibility, and social inclusion. The institute also shares practical pre-ride safety guidance, covering bicycle brakes, tires, chains, wheels, gears, seat adjustment, helmets, and lighting for night rides.

IMPS works to improve cycling safety through community engagement and bike-incident mapping. It invites riders to report stolen bicycles and share information about safety concerns and notable locations along the cycle path at São Paulo’s Parque Ecológico do Tietê. The institute also highlights this approximately 27-kilometer route as a place for cyclists to enjoy a ride.

Visitors can explore its photo gallery, learn about institutional supporters, follow the organization on social media, and find ways to participate or donate. IMPS also offers a shop and organizes fundraising raffles to support its activities.
