## Description

Impulsouth is an alliance of organizations working together to strengthen knowledge and capacity for climate action in developing countries, with a focus on just energy transitions in the Global South. It connects institutions across sectors and regions so that policymakers, educators, researchers, practitioners, and innovators can collaborate, share learning, and shape more inclusive and sustainable change.

Its work combines capacity building, applied research, knowledge exchange, and innovation. Impulsouth supports a Community of Practice that encourages policy-focused collaboration and virtual learning, and develops a Training of Trainers programme to help institutions extend their impact. Learning and Innovation grants are intended to strengthen organizations and support new approaches to energy-transition capacity building. An open-access platform provides a hub for sharing information and practices, while global exchanges bring community insights into policy discussions. Through research initiatives, including support for practical, locally relevant projects, Impulsouth aims to close knowledge gaps and inform training and action. Its approach emphasizes gender justice, South–South cooperation, and strengthening institutions as well as individuals.
