## Description

In-The-Sky.org is an innovative online platform dedicated to providing astronomy enthusiasts with tailored information about the night sky, depending on their geographical location. Established in 2012 by Dominic Ford, this comprehensive guide covers a wide range of astronomical phenomena including planets, comets, asteroids, and deep sky objects. It features an extensive searchable catalog of astronomical events from 1950 to 2300, allowing users to explore past and future celestial happenings.

The website's user-friendly tools, such as a planetarium and sky charts, help users determine visible objects and events like eclipses, meteor showers, and planetary alignments specific to their location. In addition, In-The-Sky.org offers resources such as data tables, sunrise and sunset times, and a catalog of spacecraft, enhancing the user experience and knowledge. With a focus on community engagement, it also includes an astrophotography archive and ongoing projects to support amateur astronomers worldwide.
