## Description

The International Neuroinformatics Coordinating Facility (INCF) is a collaborative network and standards organization dedicated to open, FAIR, and citable neuroscience. Its mission is to advance the responsible sharing and reuse of neuroscience research by developing, evaluating, endorsing, and promoting community standards and best practices. These efforts support reproducibility and help researchers publish and share the full range of research outputs, including data and code.

INCF brings users and developers together through working groups, where members collaborate to create standards and put them into practice in tools, services, and infrastructure. The organization maintains curated portfolios of standards, software tools, and infrastructure to guide researchers in making their work more FAIR. It also provides consulting, secretariat, fiscal sponsorship, and community-building services, helping teams strengthen collaboration, capacity, and standardization efforts.

Education is another central part of INCF’s work. Its online and in-person courses, workshops, forums, and Training Suite teach FAIR data management and supporting tools.
