## Description

The Independence Fund, founded in 2007, is a brand committed to empowering our nation's catastrophically wounded, injured, or ill Veterans. We strive to help them overcome the physical, mental, and emotional wounds they have incurred while serving their country. Our mission is to improve the lives of both the Veterans and their families. Through our various programs such as Mobility, Caregiver, Advocacy, Casework, Operation RESILIENCY, Independence@Home, and Family Program, The Independence Fund aims to bridge the gap of unmet needs for Veterans and their Caregivers. Our Mobility program provides all-terrain mobility devices to severely wounded Veterans, allowing them to regain the ability to do the activities they love. The TIF Tactical program supports Veterans in participating in sporting events and improving their well-being through adaptive sports. We also focus on supporting the unsung heroes behind the heroes, the Caregivers, through our Caregiver program. Our Advocacy program fights for the rights of Veterans and supports them in their battles with institutions upon their return home. Our Family Program, Heroes at Home, provides much-needed assistance and respite to the families of catastrophically wounded Veterans. Additionally, we collaborate with the VA in our Operation RESILIENCY program to combat Veteran suicide and promote healing and independence among Veterans. By becoming a donor, you can support our mission and make a difference in the lives of Veterans and their families. Join us in giving Veterans, their families, and Caregivers a better shot towards independence.
