## Description

Center for Independent Futures is a brand that is dedicated to supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving their hopes and dreams. Founded in 2002 by Kay Branz and Jane Doyle, who themselves were parents of daughters with developmental disabilities, the brand aims to provide life skills development and opportunities for individuals with disabilities beyond high school transition programs. Center for Independent Futures follows the Full Life Model™, which emphasizes the importance of individual hopes and dreams. They provide person-centered planning and support to help individuals create learning goals and action plans to achieve their aspirations. Their team of dedicated professionals offers individual support to over a hundred individuals in the Chicagoland area, and they also provide consultation services nationwide. With the belief in equality, leadership, collaboration, community, and innovation, Center for Independent Futures strives to create a future where individuals with disabilities have access to all the opportunities of a full life. Through their innovative product and service models, they empower individuals with disabilities and their families to realize their full potential and become contributing members of the community. Whether through volunteering or making tax-deductible contributions, you can join them in their mission to increase independence and unlock opportunities for those with disabilities.
