Independent Life is a residential supported living provider focused on empowering people affected by brain injuries or developmental disabilities. The organization aims to help individuals move toward greater independence and live the lives they want, with support shaped around each person’s needs and choices. Since 2009, Independent Life has offered 24-hour, semi-independent, and fully independent living arrangements, supported by certified health team members, experienced staff, and an on-call nurse.

Services include personalized care planning, medical management and assistance with medication, appointments, scheduling, and other health needs. Residents may also receive physical, cognitive, speech, and neurobehavioral rehabilitation, as well as massage therapy. Transitional living and community re-entry support are available, alongside transportation, grocery shopping, and weekly or personal outings. Support can be provided on or off site, according to individual preference.

Independent Life accepts funding through brain injury waiver programs, accident and health insurance, workers’ compensation, private pay or trusts, and auto no-fault coverage.
