Indiana Black Expo (IBE) has been a pillar of the Indiana community for over 50 years, providing empowerment through education, events, and advocacy. As a year-round, multifaceted community service organization with 12 chapters, IBE aims to create and advance opportunities for families in central Indiana. They have evolved their programming to actively address relevant issues and contribute to positive change.

IBE offers a range of products and services to support their mission. They provide scholarships annually to Indiana students, with nearly $5 million in college scholarships awarded since 1983. Additionally, they host events like the Summer Celebration and the Business Conference, which foster learning, networking, and entrepreneurial growth.

IBE also collaborates with the Indiana Small Business Development Center to offer a webinar series specifically for minority business owners. With their 2022 Impact Report and new five-year strategic plan, IBE is committed to making a lasting impact on the social and economic advancement of African American youth and families. By educating, empowering, and elevating individuals, IBE continues to be an effective voice for the Indiana community
