## Description

The Indiana Writers Center (IWC) is dedicated to helping individuals tell their unique stories. With over 40 years of experience, we have fostered a vibrant writing community in Indiana by offering a range of classes and workshops led by some of the state's best writers. Located in the Basile Opera Center in the Meridian Kessler neighborhood, we provide education and enrichment opportunities for both aspiring and accomplished writers. In addition to our classes and workshops, we host literary events such as readings, open mics, critique groups, and the annual Gathering of Writers. We also have outreach programs in schools, community organizations, nursing homes, and correctional facilities, giving people from diverse backgrounds and ages the chance to find their voices. At the Indiana Writers Center, we believe that everyone has a story to tell, and we are here to help you tell yours. Join our vibrant community and discover the joy of creative expression while enhancing your writing skills. Whether you are just starting or have years of experience, we have something for everyone. Visit our website to learn more and become a member today!.
