The Indian Bonsai Association, founded on March 9, 1981, by Dr. Leila Dhanda and Dr. Hussain Tayebbhoy, is dedicated to promoting the art of bonsai in India. With approximately 200 active members, this leading organization serves as a hub for bonsai enthusiasts. Bonsai, which translates to a tree or plant in a tray, originated in China and was refined in Japan, showcasing the natural beauty of trees in miniature form.
