## Description

**Cantaloupe Chronicle** is an engaging indie game crafted by solo developer Tim Rachor, set to launch on June 10, 2025. This cozy detective adventure uniquely combines elements of journalism, personal grief, and small-town secrets within the fictional German locale of Cantaloupe. Players take on the role of a teenager interning at a local newspaper, tasked with unraveling a decades-old mystery surrounding a cold case. Throughout the game, players must interview townsfolk, sift through records, and compile articles based on hard-earned clues, transforming the often mundane task of writing into an immersive gameplay experience.

Visually distinct with low-poly art and a nostalgic charm reminiscent of early 2000s adventure titles, Cantaloupe Chronicle also delivers an evocative soundtrack, enhancing the reflective atmosphere. Drawing from the developer's own experiences, the narrative explores themes of being heard and the silences of a community. Ideal for fans of introspective storytelling, Cantaloupe Chronicle invites players to uncover truths about both the town and themselves, making for an unforgettable gaming experience.
