## Description

The Indigenous Literacy Foundation (ILF) is a vital organization committed to fostering literacy among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in remote communities across Australia. With a mission to promote a love of reading from an early age, ILF strives to open doors to future opportunities and choices for Indigenous youth. ILF’s programs include Book Supply, providing new, culturally relevant books to communities, and Book Buzz, which engages children under five with literature. Additionally, the Community Publishing initiative allows communities to create and illustrate their own stories in languages of their choice. By donating to ILF, supporters help ensure access to high-quality books and learning resources, particularly those in First Languages. With ongoing support from the Australian Book Industry and a commitment to Indigenous culture and storytelling, ILF operates in over 400 communities, driving positive change through literacy. Join ILF in their mission to give the gift of reading and empower Indigenous children.
