## Description

The Indigo Foundation supports the growth and development of the Indigo Protocol and its community-led ecosystem on the Cardano blockchain. Indigo Protocol is a decentralized synthetic assets platform that aims to expand access to decentralized finance (DeFi) through an innovative and sustainable financial ecosystem. The Foundation works to advance the Protocol by implementing feature additions approved by the Indigo DAO, including performance optimizations and protocol expansion. It also maintains relationships with real-world service providers that support the Protocol. Foundation directors collaborate with developers, elected DAO working group members, and the wider community to carry out the DAO’s direction and help the ecosystem develop. Governance is led by the Indigo DAO, whose members are INDY token holders. They can propose and vote on Protocol changes, making development community-driven. The Foundation shares reports and information about its initiatives, features, and releases, and provides community channels such as a forum and Discord. Its work centers on supporting a robust, sustainable financial ecosystem and the ongoing development of decentralized finance on Cardano.
