## Description

Climate Action Indonesia is the public platform of Yayasan Srikandi Lestari (YSL), an Indonesian civil society organization working at the intersection of environmental protection, climate action, and human rights. Its coverage and activities focus particularly on issues affecting communities in North Sumatra, including deforestation, energy transition, disasters, illegal fishing and logging, and the rights of women, children, workers, migrants, and human rights defenders.

YSL combines public education and advocacy with practical community support. Its work includes gender-based violence prevention and survivor assistance, psychosocial support, basic-needs and food aid, and engagement on social protection and disaster response. The organization also conducts training, seminars, stakeholder dialogues, and research-related activities, including work on gender and natural resources. Through partnerships with other organizations, it supports victims and contributes to discussions about environmental recovery and community needs.

The website shares news, publications, research modules, and children’s books, alongside updates on campaigns and field activities. It also invites visitors to explore partnership and donation options, helping connect supporters with the organization’s initiatives.
