## Description

Indianapolis RC South is a vibrant non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and enjoyment of remote control airplane flying. Chartered through the Academy of Model Aeronautics, our club ensures safety and community engagement by providing insurance coverage for both our members and the flying field landowner. With a loyal membership of approximately 40 flying enthusiasts, we gather at Dye’s Walk Country Club each month to share our passion for aviation.

Our club serves as a welcoming space for individuals of all ages, hosting several community outreach events that introduce local grade school children, Boy Scouts, and senior citizens to the thrill of model aviation. Our commitment to fostering interest in this innovative hobby is evident in our participation in events such as the Mt. Auburn Touch a Truck and the Greenwood Airport Aviation Day. Whether you're a seasoned flyer or a curious beginner, Indianapolis RC South offers a friendly environment for learning and friendship, with flying sessions typically organized in the evenings and on weekends when weather permits.
