Composed of a diverse team of experienced and aspiring scientists, engineers, social scientists, economists, and bankers from Mali, Canada, Togo, USA, and Burkina Faso, iNERDE is dedicated to providing African youth with the necessary resources and opportunities to discover their potential in STEM fields. The name iNERDE (New Education for Radical Development) embodies the brand's mission to put the cool back into being a nerd. Utilizing their intensive experience in development and education work, community service, and after-school programs from around the world, the team at iNERDE is committed to creating innovative educational programs.

iNERDE successfully launched its pilot project, a STEM summer camp in Bamako, Mali, in partnership with a local school. Since then, they have expanded to have six partner schools in Mali and two in Senegal. With plans to replicate their model throughout Africa, iNERDE is building a pipeline of development opportunities to empower their graduates to become inventors, discoverers, innovators, and entrepreneurs, transforming the landscape of opportunity in both Africa and the world
