## Description

The Institute for Research on the History of Law (INHIDE) is an Argentine organization dedicated to investigating the legal history of Argentina and the Americas and sharing the resulting scholarship. Founded on August 8, 1973, it supports research and connects specialists across the country by encouraging the exchange of information, discussion of shared questions, and access to bibliographic updates on work conducted abroad.

INHIDE disseminates research through books, documents, scholarly papers, and its long-running Revista de Historia del Derecho. Its editorial program has produced 61 volumes, and the journal publishes research on legal history. The institute also organizes academic activities, including conferences, seminars, talks, and conversations, and issues calls for participation in events such as the Jornadas de Historia del Derecho Argentino. Its research teams contribute to this scholarly work.

A specialized library of approximately 9,000 volumes serves researchers in legal history and related disciplines. INHIDE also shares academic news and collaborates with institutions, including through agreements with universities.
