## Description

In Medias Res is an association focused on education, communication, and the environment. Founded to support free and independent research, it brings together a spirit of experimentation with a commitment to new educational and relational practices. The organization describes its work as serious while retaining a sense of irony, and invites people to engage actively in its initiatives.

Its activities include ongoing and completed projects, courses, and public communication through news and interviews. The topics featured on its website include biodiversity, soil regeneration, naturalistic engineering, environmental erosion, and climate change. Projects also connect environmental themes with creative and community-based work, such as workshops in shadow theatre and puppet-making. The association shares stories about local places, artists, students, and people working in environmental fields, helping make these subjects accessible to wider audiences.

In Medias Res operates from offices in Trento and Palermo and collaborates with partners on its initiatives. Its work combines educational, cultural, and environmental interests, using research, communication, and participatory activities to encourage reflection and engagement.
