## Description

Innostar Aerospace develops and markets technology for high-speed vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft. Its concept combines helicopter and airplane technologies to link conventional aircraft designs with emerging eVTOL solutions. The company presents its patented design as a near-term approach for applications requiring speed, long endurance and vertical access, with potential use in both civilian and military settings, and in manned or unmanned aircraft.

Innostar highlights four intended advantages: aircraft-like speed, limited drag to support endurance, hovering capability comparable to other VTOL designs, and attention to safety on the ground and in flight. The company shares videos of its concept and a flying mockup to illustrate the technology. Its origins trace to an invention by co-founder and CEO Jean-Michel Simon in 2015, followed by years of refinement and technical review.

The team includes aerospace, rotorcraft, engineering and business leaders, including experts associated with Airbus’s X3 demonstrator and the University of Maryland. Innostar’s work focuses on developing and bringing its high-speed VTOL technology to market.
