## Description

The Iran National Science Foundation (INSF) is a national organization dedicated to supporting research and strengthening Iran’s scientific capacity. It provides funding and other forms of support for researchers, university faculty, postgraduate students, universities, research institutions, and knowledge-based companies. Its programs include regular and ongoing grants, special calls, international joint research, partnerships with the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology, and support for deep research by knowledge-based companies. The foundation also offers opportunities related to research chairs, grants, postdoctoral projects, and peer review, with application forms, guidance, and project submission available through its research management system, KAIper. Beyond funding, INSF shares information about approved projects, research priorities, and support programs, and promotes collaboration among universities and scientific organizations. Its public-facing activities include science outreach events, educational videos on emerging fields such as quantum science and technology, and news about research outcomes, workshops, and international partnerships. Through these services, the foundation connects researchers with resources while helping bring scientific knowledge and achievements to wider audiences.
