## Description

InstaBox provides cloud computers designed to give AI agents a persistent, flexible environment for running tasks. Each agent can use its own Linux machine, launched from the command line with npx instabox@latest sh. The service offers a secure virtual desktop that an agent can control, with the option for a person to take over at any time. For workloads that need more control, InstaBox also provides full virtual machines with their own kernels, as well as support for Docker and Docker Compose inside the machine.

InstaBox includes persistent storage, so files and installed packages remain available between sessions. Users can pause machines without paying while they are inactive, then resume work later. Snapshots make it possible to save a machine and start new ones from that state. The platform also provides HTTPS URLs for exposed ports and a vault for storing secrets that can be used across machines. InstaBox offers documentation, pricing information, and account access through its website.
