Founded in 2015 by scientists from Germany, Russia, and Kyrgyzstan, it brings together research, regional learning, and public engagement with nature. IERS organizes research trips and educational excursions across Central Asia and other regions, with itineraries featuring Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, and destinations such as Lake Baikal and Kamchatka. Its programs explore subjects including ecology, botany, geology, hydrology, forestry, wildlife, agriculture, architecture, history, and local cultures. Alongside travel, the institute runs educational projects with schools in Bishkek, helping young people develop knowledge of the natural world through field visits to gardens, wetlands, rivers, mountains, and other local sites. Its initiatives have also included collaborative tree-planting activities and school visits. IERS shares information about its projects and expeditions through publications and thematic photo galleries, connecting scientific perspectives with hands-on learning and regional exploration. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Environmental Science _(under Science and Education)_ - ✈️ Travel and Tourism - ✈️ Transportation and Excursions _(under Travel and Tourism)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/institute.of.ecology) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/institute.of.ecology) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id6RuyH8wN/w/600/h/600/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793330923055) - icon _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id6RuyH8wN/w/833/h/833/theme/dark/icon.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793330923294) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Sahara | #b2a516 | accent | | Cod Gray | #0d0a0a | dark | | Blue Ribbon | #4141ff | light | ## Fonts - Open Sans — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
