## Description

The Institute for Research of Genocide Canada (IGC) is a pivotal scientific institution dedicated to the study and analysis of crimes against humanity, particularly genocide, and other severe breaches of international law. Established to address the increasing violations of human rights, IGC aims to foster a culture of memory surrounding atrocities such as the Bosnian Genocide, which deeply affected the lives of countless individuals, particularly Bosniacs.

Focusing on rigorous scientific research, IGC conducts studies on past genocides, provides educational resources, and organizes conferences to raise awareness about the complexities of these historical events. Their work includes creating educational programs for scholars and the diaspora community while engaging with a network of over 100 international experts in human rights.

Through its research initiatives, IGC seeks to promote understanding and memory of genocidal events, combat revisionist history, and inspire collective action against genocide. The institute plays a vital role in shaping public consciousness and fostering international cooperation to prevent future atrocities.
