Its work aims to strengthen participants’ physical, intellectual, social, communication, and everyday living skills through specialized programs. Early stimulation is offered to babies from 45 days old, with sessions involving both the child and a family member. Activities include physical therapy and sensory-perception exercises designed to encourage development. The institute’s special education program, Acción Educativa, covers fine and gross motor skills, cognitive development, socialization, self-care, and language. Additional services include occupational workshops for adults, focused on daily self-care and skills for trades or productive activities. The Yo Pinto art workshop gives participants opportunities to express themselves through painting, using techniques such as oil, watercolor, pastel, and acrylic. The institute also provides conferences and workshops about Down syndrome for families, healthcare professionals, students, and the public, promoting understanding and social inclusion. It welcomes financial donations to support its work. ## Industries - ⛑ Health - ⛑ Developmental and Physical Disabilities _(under Health)_ - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Education _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/institutodowncolima) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/institutodowncolima) - [youtube](https://youtube.com/channel/UCFU7Y5NsWWEyy_XtjodtAQg) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idxxLotkR2/w/300/h/400/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793108406789) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idxxLotkR2/w/681/h/681/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793108407189) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Allports | #0068a0 | accent | | Cod Gray | #111111 | dark | | Conifer | #aad75d | light | ## Fonts - Inter — asset _(google)_ - Inter — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
