## Description

Lotus Fertility Insurance is a pioneering, female-led startup based in Pittsburgh, dedicated to redefining fertility insurance. They envision a future where everyone has access to fertility care, making it more affordable and accessible. Their mission is to provide a supplemental insurance plan for fertility, guaranteeing coverage for out-of-pocket expenses for fertility treatments. This is especially crucial as 1 in 8 couples in the U.S. grapple with fertility issues, yet high costs and limited insurance coverage put essential fertility services out of reach for many.

Lotus Fertility Insurance offers a supplemental plan designed to bridge the gap between primary insurance and out-of-pocket expenses, providing term-based coverage for qualifying events during the term. Their ongoing research has shown high demand for supplemental fertility insurance, with 85% of survey respondents expressing willingness to invest in it. As they gear up for a fundraising round, they are looking for partners, advisors, and investors to help realize their vision. Joining their journey means making a meaningful impact on the future of fertility care.
