## Description

In-Sync Exotics is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to rescuing and providing a safe haven for exotic cats. It all began with Vicky Keahey, a dedicated veterinary technician who developed a strong bond with a female cougar named Tahoe in 1991. When Tahoe was abandoned, Vicky happily took her in and learned about the specific needs of cougars with the help of her vet and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Over time, Vicky rescued and cared for more cats, including a male cougar named Ranger. In 1998, Vicky's heart was touched by a badly injured Bengal tiger cub named Kenya, leading her to establish In-Sync Exotics in 2000. The organization's mission is to provide a caring and safe haven for rescued exotic felines, while also educating the public about their care and protection. In-Sync Exotics does not engage in buying, selling, trading, or breeding animals. Their goal is to rescue mistreated exotic cats, support legislation against poaching and abuse, and raise funds to provide quality care for their feline residents. With a commitment to love, honor, and respect the right to life of exotic cats, In-Sync Exotics aims to make a difference in the world through their dedicated work.
