# The Internet Animation Database - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `intanibase.com` ## Description The Internet Animation Database (IAD) is an online resource dedicated to documenting animation and making information about cartoons accessible to fans, researchers, and contributors. Its mission is to become the largest and most accurate compendium of animation information, screenshots, and facts. Visitors can explore entries by studio, title, series, artist, character, and other categories, or browse information on animation from different countries and home-video formats. The database also offers an extensive screenshot collection, with sets from more than 8,000 cartoons, and an animation art gallery featuring over 8,600 pieces. Users can investigate cartoon videos released over the years, read reviews, follow animation news, and join discussions on the IAD forums. The site invites community members to support its collection by contributing research, screenshots, comments, and other graphic materials. It also welcomes volunteers interested in joining its team. The IAD is undergoing a major site reworking, while aiming to continue regular updates and maintain its growing archive for people who love cartoons and animation. ## Industries - 🍿 Arts and Entertainment - 🍿 Animation and Comics _(under Arts and Entertainment)_ - 🗺 Reference Materials - 🗺 Dictionaries and Encyclopedias _(under Reference Materials)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/internetanimationdatabase) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/ids2wCkeNu/w/50/h/50/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792183778343) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/ids2wCkeNu/w/180/h/180/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792183778437) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Pale Sky | #6b717a | accent | | Camarone | #006400 | dark | | Linen | #faf0e6 | light | ## Fonts - -apple-system — asset _(system)_ - var(--bs-font-sans-serif) — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
