## Description

InterAction for Health and Human Rights is a dynamic Australian charity dedicated to advocating for the health, rights, and wellbeing of intersex individuals and those with innate variations of sex characteristics. Formed through the merger of Intersex Human Rights Australia and Intersex Peer Support Australia, the organization emphasizes bodily autonomy and the right to live free from stigma and discrimination. Their multifaceted approach includes providing psychosocial support through their InterLink project and offering resources such as guides on inclusive practices for service providers.

InterAction's initiatives also encompass educational outreach aimed at parents, allies, and the broader community to foster understanding of intersex variations and associated rights. They actively engage in advocacy efforts, promoting significant legislative reforms and national strategies like the National Action Plan for the Health and Wellbeing of LGBTIQA+ People. With a commitment to collaboration, InterAction is poised to continue driving change in 2025 and beyond, ensuring that intersex rights are recognized as fundamental human rights across Australia.
