Interfaith Social Services is a nonreligious organization dedicated to supporting the South Shore community in living healthy and fulfilling lives. With a dedicated team of clinicians, staff, and volunteers, Interfaith offers a range of programs and services to meet various needs. These include addressing hunger through their Food Pantry, providing mental health counseling through the New Directions Counseling Center, preventing homelessness through the Homelessness Prevention program, and bringing joy to children through seasonal programs. They also operate the Bureau Drawer Thrift Shop, a boutique store open to the public and serving as one of their largest fundraisers. Interfaith Social Services values community involvement, compassion, collaboration, and responsible stewardship of resources. Founded in 1947 and rebranded in 1998, Interfaith remains committed to being an open and affirming organization, assisting anyone in need regardless of gender, orientation, race, or immigration status.
